Flagging, Reporting, Appeals & Compliance

Zurgle is committed to maintaining a safe, lawful, and trustworthy platform. We provide processes for customers, users, partners, and other authorized parties to report potentially prohibited content or activity and, where applicable, request a review of enforcement decisions.

This policy explains how to submit reports, how we may review reported issues, and how appeals are handled.

1. Reporting a Concern

If you believe that a product, listing, account, review, advertisement, or other content violates our policies or applicable laws, you may contact our support or compliance team.

Reports may relate to concerns including:

  • Prohibited or restricted products.
  • Fraudulent or deceptive activity.
  • Intellectual property infringement.
  • Unauthorized use of content.
  • Privacy or personal information concerns.
  • Unsafe or unlawful activity.
  • Misleading product or business information.
  • Violations of our Terms & Conditions or other policies.

2. Information to Include in a Report

To help us review a report efficiently, please provide as much relevant information as possible, including:

  • Your name and contact information.
  • A description of the concern.
  • The URL, product, listing, account, or other content involved.
  • Relevant order or transaction information, if applicable.
  • Supporting documentation or screenshots.
  • The reason you believe the content or activity violates a policy or legal requirement.

Providing complete and accurate information helps us investigate the issue more effectively.

3. Good-Faith Reporting

Reports should be submitted in good faith and should contain accurate information to the best of your knowledge.

You must not knowingly submit false, misleading, malicious, or abusive reports.

Repeated misuse of the reporting process may result in restrictions on access to reporting or other appropriate action.

4. Review Process

When we receive a report, we may review the information provided and determine whether additional investigation is appropriate.

Depending on the nature of the report, we may:

  • Review the reported content or activity.
  • Request additional information.
  • Contact the relevant account holder or party.
  • Temporarily restrict content or activity.
  • Remove or disable content where appropriate.
  • Take corrective or enforcement action.
  • Refer the matter to an appropriate third party or authority where required.

Not every report will result in removal or enforcement action.

5. Compliance Investigations

Some reports may require additional review because they involve legal, regulatory, safety, fraud, or other compliance concerns.

During an investigation, we may request documentation or additional information from the relevant parties.

We may also use information from internal systems, payment providers, service providers, or other authorized sources where appropriate and legally permitted.

6. Enforcement Actions

Where we determine that a policy or legal requirement has been violated, we may take appropriate action based on the circumstances.

Possible actions may include:

  • Removing or restricting content.
  • Rejecting a product listing.
  • Cancelling a transaction.
  • Restricting account functionality.
  • Suspending an account.
  • Terminating access to our services.
  • Requesting corrective action.
  • Taking other steps permitted by applicable law.

The action taken may depend on the severity, frequency, and nature of the violation.

7. Appeals

If you believe that an enforcement action was taken incorrectly, you may request a review where an appeal process is available.

An appeal should explain:

  • The action you are appealing.
  • Why you believe the decision was incorrect.
  • Any relevant supporting information.
  • Any corrective steps you have taken, where applicable.

Appeals should contain accurate and relevant information and should be submitted within any applicable timeframe communicated to you.

8. Appeal Review

Appeals may be reviewed by an appropriate member of our team or through another applicable review process.

We may consider the original decision, information submitted in the appeal, applicable policies, and any relevant additional information.

After review, we may:

  • Reverse the original decision.
  • Modify the enforcement action.
  • Confirm the original decision.
  • Request additional information.
  • Take another appropriate action.

Our decision may depend on the facts and circumstances of the individual case.

9. Repeat Violations

Repeated or serious violations may result in stronger enforcement measures.

A history of policy violations may be considered when reviewing future reports, transactions, accounts, or appeals.

10. Emergency or Serious Concerns

If a report involves an immediate threat to safety, suspected exploitation, serious unlawful activity, or another matter requiring urgent attention, we may prioritize the report and take appropriate action.

Where legally required or appropriate, we may cooperate with relevant authorities or other authorized organizations.

11. Confidentiality and Privacy

We will handle information submitted through reporting and appeals processes in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable legal requirements.

We may limit disclosure of reports and investigation information where appropriate, although certain information may need to be disclosed to affected parties, service providers, regulators, law enforcement, or other authorized parties.

12. Intellectual Property Reports

If your report concerns copyright, trademark, or another intellectual property right, please provide sufficient information to identify the protected work and the allegedly infringing material.

Additional documentation or information may be requested before action is taken.

13. No Guarantee of Outcome

Submitting a report or appeal does not guarantee that content will be removed, an account will be restricted, or an enforcement decision will be reversed.

Each matter may be reviewed based on its individual circumstances, applicable policies, and legal requirements.

14. Policy Updates

We may update this Flagging, Reporting, Appeals & Compliance Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our platform, legal requirements, moderation procedures, or compliance practices.

The latest version will be published on this page.

15. Contact Us

If you need to report a compliance concern, prohibited activity, or potential policy violation, please contact our support or compliance team and provide as much relevant information as possible.

If you are appealing an enforcement decision, clearly identify the decision and explain why you believe it should be reconsidered.

We are committed to reviewing legitimate concerns fairly, responsibly, and in accordance with applicable requirements.
